To go one step further, if you’ve ever seen one of our job postings, you’ll notice that we require anyone who is truly interested in joining the gap intellience team to share their top three personal values. Bringing someone into our team is a decision to bring someone into our community. We lean on each other to make us better, so naturally when we look at hiring we look for driven, passionate individuals who are excited to be a part of what we do here. We want to give people the chance to tell us about themselves beyond what can be seen in a resume. The people who work at gap work hard, but more than that, they work together towards a shared vision.

Values Lead the Way

The values at gap intelligence don’t stop once the job is offered either. In addition to their significant presence in the interviewing and hiring processes, training, and ongoing evaluations also echo the same five core values. They're something that gappers who have been here for years are still measured against to make sure we are all aligned. It's this alignment that enables our team to continuously learn, grow, and contribute to both the social and professional aspects of our community.

Passion vs. Paychecks

According to Simon Sinek, author of Start With Why, “If you hire people just because they can do a job, they'll work for your money. But if you hire people who believe what you believe, they'll work for you with blood and sweat and tears.” While gap may not require actual blood, sweat, and tears, that type of passion definitely lends itself to what it takes to be a great gapper and works towards our shared vision.
